HELLO Everyone,
Just to let all of you know that there is another option and alternative in the area to the Eurospar's/Spar's/ centra's/ Fresh's etc etc.....
A beautiful community market where people can gather, relax, shop, get health information, and get to know one another and the producers of the food you buy.
Where you support your own health and well being as well as Fairtrade, organics, Irish, slowfood, the environment, and help build your own local community with unique amenities exclusive to it and small personable producers rather than faceless, tasteless, convenience stores.
We care for the enjoyable social activity, transaction and exchange that shopping should be .

Just across the river on Pearse St, at St. Andrew's Resource Centre (opposite Pearse Square) is The Natural Food Market. Every Saturday from 9.30am-3.30pm.
IT is a beautiful, relaxing community hall with an organic master baker George Heise from Slane doing olive breads, spelt, multigrain, rye, scones yeast/soda sourdough you name it,
Penny and Udo Langhe from Kiltegan in Wicklow with gorgeous organic and biodynamic fruit and vegetables, and organic sheep, goats and cows cheeses.
Terryglass Organic Butcher selling his famous lamb and chickens.
Gerry Scullion sells Dublin manufactured concentrated eco cleaners-you have to talk to him to see how cool these are!!
And us -SuperNatural Foods we sell organic, fairtrade and eco friendly groceries, pasta. canned goods, coffee, teas, lentils, rice, Household products such as Ecover and Lilly's as well as exclusive, exquisite products such as Sonnentor teas and Burren Perfumery shower gels and soaps, delicacies, wholefoods and healthfoods.
We take Bulk orders on some items and run a volunteer scheme for anyone interested in getting involved and helping out with set up/clear away of market every couple of weeks in return for a 10% discount. We very much see it as YOUR market and love feedback.
We also hope to in the near future hold talks, activities, fun events..and are working on adding to the market in general with stalls ...but only quality!!! if anyone has suggestions we welcome them.
But most of all there is a friendly atmosphere and lovely cafe area (which we are currently adding to in terms of stalls and food on offer) It is run by Sunil who sells Sencha quality green teas and others, Fairtrade coffee as well as incomparable Rosewater and Pistachio cake to name only one and soup, panninis and Sushi and we encourage people to relax, socialise, shop browse, ask about health and product info, or just simply take time out.
We love what we do!
