I know some of us have talked before about slowing down how the doors close, so they don't bang so much. I can't remember what the solution was. If anyone out there can remember can you post so I can sort out the doors out in our block?
There is a threaded bar and a nut on the arm that closes the door. All you have to do is twist this one turn. Let the door go and see how that works. If it needs another turn then give it another one turn. See how that closes, repeat until you're happy. If the door is closing harder, then you're twisting the wrong way.
