    Default Santry Park: Walled Garden

    Hi Folks....

Some of you may be interested in seeing the walled garden in Santry Park opened. Santry Forum will be meeting Fingal on wednesday at 2.30. We will be discussing different options and would like to open allotments for locals if sustainable. I would really like some people from the Northwood area to come along if they are interested. Is there an active residents group over there? Feel free to contact me at santryforum@yahoo.ie if you can help.

    Best Regards..

    Default Community Garden

    Hi Folks,
A container is to be put on order by Fingal this week and will be used as a tool lock up. This is a start anyway and I'll keep updates here and maybe on the Santry.info site also.
    Best Regards

So are the allotments definitely going ahead? Is there a waiting list?

Default Santry Community Garden Open Day, 4th July 2010

    Hi folks

Are you interested in joining a new community garden scheme? There will be an open day on Sunday 4th July 11.00am - 4.00pm

Local residents with the support of Fingal County Council are going to turn the Walled Garden in Santry Demesne into a Community Garden.

The Santry Community Garden group plan in the long term to restore it to its former glory but for starters will be happy to cultivate land to the rear of the plot and grow a wide variety of fruit and vegetables.
