3rd Off-Licence for Laurel Lodge?

Many of you have heard from local residents that there is an planning approved applicant who wishes to take over the current Dry Cleaners lease and replace it with a 'high quality wine/beer' shop.

A one month's deferment from the Courts has been received by Inspector Kelly on behalf of Superintendent John Harnett at Blanchardstown Garda Station. Inspector Kelly is seeking to hear from all concerned community groups/individuals in this area as to how they feel. His contact number is 666-7000.

Residents - please note that Laurel Lodge already has Kavanagh's Pub and Centra selling off-licence products and Centra has always intended to market beer and spirits eventually. Another off-licence 'high quality' or not is just sending the wrong message.

Both Joan Burton TD, Cllr Peggy Hamill, Leo Varadkar TD and Cllr Mags Murray have voiced their concerns and objections to a 3rd off-licence for this area.

Please give Inspector Kelly a call and let him know how you feel. In this climate - we need our government to finally make a healthy decision, for our kids and for our future!
