Hi All,

Not sure who to contact about this. But the street lights on Stratton Walk are still not on. They did have flood lights on the showhouse at the end (train station end). But they appear to have been disconnected now. I think the showhouse has been sold.

It is getting ridiculous. We had empty beer cans in our driveway, and an empty six pack at the end of the road, after the weekend. Apparently, being so dark, our road is an ideal place for kids to sit and drink.

Please, please can someone do something about this ???? Is it Castlethorn, or is it SDCC, or should I contact ESB ???? People have been living on the road for 10 months now, and to still have no street lights is unacceptable.

Now that the showhouses are open, and attracting lots of people every weekend, maybe we should go down there and tell prospective buyers that if they buy in Stratton, they will be living in the dark !!!!!

I would get onto Ben Brady in Castlethorn (Sales Manager) without hesitation.
They built the roads and the homes and are the Managing Agent so its there responsibility to provide you with adequate public lighting and don't let them fob you off into calling someone else.If its ringing around that needs to be done they are the ones who should be doing this.
This is unacceptable behaviour and you should threaten them with a Placard at the Show Homes and with taking some photo's and going to the local paper if this service is not in place by next week.

You are in danger of physically hurting yourself and also freinds and families not to mention the mental anguish with Anti-Social behaviour and loitering near your home.
The people who where unfortunate to experience flooding in there homes around the Christmas period got down and dirty to remedy these problems with great success and you to need to bend some ears to get this fixed.
These is not a hard thing for them to do even a few flood lights would be ample for the mean time. Good Luck!

You should probably get onto ODPM. This is an estate managment issue. They paid the bills for the street lights so they can give an instruction to the company to repair them. On a unrelated note ESB Networks dont actually have that contract anymore its now a part of Airtricity but they will only take a request for the account holders of the lamp posts.
